We are currently recruiting for two experienced Package Managers, one Mechanical and one Electrical, to support the delivery of a major section of a high-profile HS2 infrastructure project across the Midlands and Birmingham area.
The project incorporates significant infrastructure, buildings, and associated MEP works across a wide geographical area.
These positions will be responsible for supporting the delivery of complex mechanical or electrical installation packages, working closely with project management, engineering, construction teams, and specialist subcontractors.
The successful candidates will be based from the M6 Loop MEP Office in Coleshill, with regular responsibility for works across the wider project area.
The Role
As a Mechanical or Electrical Package Manager, you will take ownership of your respective MEP package, overseeing the delivery of complex installation works and ensuring packages are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme, and in accordance with the required technical and quality standards.

- Manage the delivery of complex mechanical or electrical installation packages.
- Take ownership of assigned packages from planning through to completion.
- Coordinate and manage specialist subcontractors and installation teams.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, progress, resources, and programme.
- Coordinate MEP installation activities with wider construction and infrastructure works.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to resolve technical issues.
- Review drawings, specifications, programmes, method statements, and installation documentation.
- Monitor progress against agreed programmes and identify potential delays.
- Lead and attend progress meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- Manage interfaces between MEP packages and other project disciplines.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and relevant standards.
- Support the resolution of technical, construction, and commercial issues.
- Monitor quality and ensure inspection and testing requirements are met.
- Ensure all works comply with project health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain accurate project records and provide progress reports.
- Identify package risks, opportunities, and potential changes.
- Work collaboratively with the wider project team to ensure successful delivery.
