Position - M&E Project Coordinator / Project Manager

Location: Preston

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience, 32 days holiday - including Banks, Veh Allowance (DOE), Career Progression

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Profile

We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Coordinator to join a growing Projects team.

The successful candidate will have experience within M&E, Building Services, Construction or Facilities Management and will be responsible for coordinating projects from initial instruction through to completion.

Experience within healthcare/NHS, commercial or public-sector environments would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate M&E projects, planned works and installations.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
  • Arrange site visits, surveys, installations and commissioning.
  • Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
  • Maintain project programmes, trackers and documentation.
  • Assist with quotations, purchase orders, variations and invoicing.
  • Monitor project progress, costs and deadlines.
  • Coordinate RAMS, permits, certification and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with project handover and O&M documentation.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and internal teams.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as an M&E Project Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Project Administrator or similar.
  • Experience within Mechanical & Electrical, Building Services, Construction or FM.
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Experience coordinating engineers and subcontractors.
