Freelance M&E Quantity Surveyor - Potential for Permanent Role

£450 per day | Hybrid Working (2 days from home)
Location: Farringdon, London
Hill McGlynn is currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional seeking a long-term freelance role with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
The Role
You will be based out of our client's Farringdon office, working on a hybrid basis with two days per week from home. The role will involve supporting key projects within the infrastructure and energy sectors, with a focus on generators and data centres.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing all commercial aspects of M&E projects from inception through to completion
- Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Procurement and subcontractor management
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Working closely with project teams to ensure commercial success
Requirements
- Strong background in M&E Quantity Surveying (preferred)
- Alternatively, experience working for a main contractor in a similar capacity
- Proven ability to manage multiple packages and deliver projects successfully
- Excellent Commercial Awareness and Communication Skills
