Main purpose of the role/Key objectives
Responsibility for the day-to-day running of a site to keep within the timescale and budget of a project, and resolve any delays or problems encountered on-site during the project. Responsibility for the wellbeing and management of the site team.
To coordinate all M&E trades and subcontractors to satisfy the main programme. Liaise and work in harmony with main contractor and other trades / sub-contractors.
Accountabilities
- Safe delivery of projects to agreed time, cost and quality targets
- Customer satisfaction on projects
- Comply with all Enlight10 requirements such as following company policies and procedures, attending compulsory training sessions and actively working towards objectives.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Demonstrate great Health & Safety stewardship, leading Enlight10’s Health and Safety agenda on site
- Oversee onsite M&E construction, establishing and managing the construction programme and ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations
- Responsibility for management, coordination and supervision of sub-contractors
- Set up H&S procedures and manage site HSE processes and performance
- First point of contact for all site management issues; point of escalation as required
- Develop and manage testing, commissioning and inspection programme
- Set up sample and control panels and quality control procedures and ensure they are followed at all times
- Programming sub-contractor requirements in order to ensure the site is adequately resourced at all times, and programmes are updated and met.
- Ensure daily safety inspections take place and that any issues raised are resolved as soon as possible
- Solve problems in a timely fashion
- Source materials as required
- Monitor and report regularly to the Project Manager and or Operations Lead on the progress of a project including regular programme updates
- Identify potential issues before they arise and flag to the Operations Lead
- Keep the site team motivated and focused
- Use BIM platforms to ensure all team members are working from the correct drawings and to share amendments with the Design Team
- Report into M&E Project Manager
- Attend site meetings (client side & internal)
- Liaise with sub-contractors who form part of M&E works
