Role Description
The M&E Site Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Wessex Water region responsible for managing mechanical and electrical works on construction projects. The role involves:

- Overseeing M&E installation activities
- Coordinating subcontractors
- Ensuring work is delivered to specification, quality, and safety standards
- Aligning with project programs
The M&E Site Manager will:
- Monitor progress
- Resolve technical and coordination issues
- Attend site meetings
- Report regularly to project and construction managers
The role also includes:
- Managing site documentation
- Supporting commissioning activities
- Fostering effective communication with design teams, clients, and suppliers
Qualifications
- Strong experience managing mechanical and electrical works on construction or infrastructure projects
- Good understanding of M&E design, installation methods, commissioning processes, and relevant standards and regulations
- Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, supervise site teams, and manage health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Effective planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to keep projects on time and on budget
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in leading meetings and collaborating with stakeholders
- Relevant technical qualification in building services, mechanical or electrical engineering, or construction management
- Experience working under UK construction regulations and familiarity with quality assurance processes
- Competence in using project management tools, digital drawings, and standard office software
