Equans is looking for a M&E Supervisor to join our team at the University of West London campuses.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, with participation in a 24-hour on-call rota. On offer is a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Supervise the delivery of mechanical, electrical, fabric, and grounds maintenance services
  • Ensure PPM, reactive maintenance, compliance activities, and small works are completed safely and effectively
  • Monitor service quality, CAFM records, KPIs, contractor performance, and statutory compliance
  • Lead emergency responses and provide effective support to clients, university representatives, and stakeholders

Who are you?

  • Experienced in supervising mechanical and electrical maintenance teams within a Hard Facilities Management environment
  • Knowledgeable in building services, maintenance practices, statutory compliance, and health and safety requirements
  • Experienced in managing subcontractors and direct labour teams, with confidence using CAFM systems and maintenance reports
  • Organised, customer-focused, and able to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and management teams
  • A strong problem solver with excellent planning and stakeholder management skills
  • Holder of a full UK driving licence
  • HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering is desirable
  • IOSH Managing Safely or a similar health and safety qualification is desirable

This role may require employment screening and background checks in line with client, contractual, and site security requirements. Further checks may apply due to the role being based within a university environment.
