Role Overview
Tanner + Partners is seeking a motivated and technically minded Graduate Measured Surveyor to support its design and technical teams.
The Measured Surveyor will attend project sites and undertake detailed measured surveys, capturing the measurements, photographs, spatial data and technical information required to support design development and the production of accurate drawings.
The role will involve using Leica measured-survey equipment, including laser-measuring and laser-scanning technology. All information collected must be accurate, comprehensive, clearly organised and suitable for processing and importing into Vectorworks.

The successful candidate will work closely with Tanner + Partners’ designers and technical specialists, ensuring reliable and detailed site information is available from the outset of each project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a relevant built-environment degree who is looking to develop practical experience in measured building surveys, digital site capture and technical design.
Collaboration and Project Support
- Work collaboratively with Tanner + Partners’ creative, interior and technical design teams.
- Act as the main point of contact for queries relating to measured-survey information.
- Understand the information required by the design team and ensure survey outputs meet the agreed project brief.
- Provide clear updates on completed surveys, outstanding information, access limitations and site-related concerns.
- Respond promptly to requests for clarification from designers, technical team members and project leads.
- Attend project briefings, design meetings and coordination meetings where required.
- Manage multiple survey requirements and prioritise work in line with project programmes and deadlines.
- Plan site visits and coordinate access arrangements with the relevant project lead.
- Represent Tanner + Partners professionally when attending client premises and project sites.
