Based at our Shaftesbury Avenue office and reporting to the Senior Product Insights Manager within Product and Engineering, the Measurement and Implementation Manager owns the technical measurement architecture for ATG web and native app platforms. You will design and govern the data layer, implement GA4 event schemas and ecommerce tracking, run server-side Google Tag Manager deployments, and maintain app tracking and mobile attribution integrations. Your work makes sure reliable data reaches analytics, BigQuery and the ad platforms, so product, commercial and marketing teams work from numbers they trust.
This role brings work currently delivered by an external agency in-house. You will lead that handover, document what has not been documented before, and become the internal technical owner of the measurement stack. The remit of the team is expanding from insight generation to owning the measurement platform end to end, and this role sits at the centre of it.
You will be the main technical partner to Product, Engineering, Marketing and external vendors, accountable for measurement governance, tracking for new product releases and territory launches, data quality monitoring, and consent-aware measurement. Day to day you will run QA and anomaly detection, resolve discrepancies across GA4, mobile attribution and the ad platforms, and put monitoring in place so tracking failures surface in days rather than months.
We are looking for a pragmatic, hands-on measurement engineer. You pair technical execution with clear communication, explaining tracking problems to people who do not work in analytics, and you keep the tracking architecture current as privacy rules and platforms change.
This is a permanent, full-time role with hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical implementation of digital analytics across ATG web and app platforms, delivering tracking that is accurate, scalable and privacy compliant.
- Act as the internal technical owner of the measurement stack, covering Google Tag Manager, GA4 and the tracking that feeds BigQuery.
- Lead the transfer of measurement and implementation work from our external agency to in-house, including knowledge transfer, documentation and continuity of reporting.
- Design, implement and maintain server-side tracking in Google Tag Manager across all sites, keeping data accurate as browser and privacy rules change.
- Own GA4 implementation across web and app, covering event schemas, custom dimensions, ecommerce tracking and cross-platform measurement.
- Own the data layer strategy across web and app, setting the standards and working with engineering teams so tracking stays consistent through releases. Implement tracking for new product releases, features and territory launches, working with product managers from design through to release.
- Support the experimentation programme with reliable measurement, so tests report on data the business trusts.
- Own data quality monitoring across web and app, including QA, anomaly detection and alerting, so tracking failures surface quickly.
- Implement and maintain marketing and advertising pixels and conversion APIs across paid media platforms, supporting accurate conversion tracking and attribution.
- Own mobile app tracking and attribution, including lifecycle events, deep linking and integration with analytics and marketing platforms.
- Own measurement governance, including naming conventions, schemas, change management and documentation.
- Manage consent management integrations so tracking meets GDPR and other privacy requirements across the UK, US, Germany and new European markets.
- Resolve tracking discrepancies across GA4, mobile attribution and the ad platforms, finding root causes and fixing them at source.
- Keep ahead of changes in browsers, mobile operating systems, privacy regulation and analytics platforms, and evolve our tracking architecture accordingly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
