Role Overview
As a Production Operative within our Meat Preparation team, you'll play an important role in producing high-quality products that meet customer expectations. Working across processes including mincing, bowl chopping, forming, packing and palletising, you'll help ensure production runs safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
This is a great opportunity to build your experience within food manufacturing, develop new skills and contribute to a team focused on quality, food safety and continuous improvement.
Key Duties
- Work across meat preparation processes including mincing, bowl chopping, forming, packing and palletising
- Follow all company, site and legislative policies, procedures and standards
- Maintain high standards of GMP through a clean-as-you-go approach
- Complete production paperwork accurately and to the required standard
- Set up mixing and bowl chopping equipment correctly and safely
- Maintain species and allergen controls at all times
- Monitor recipe adherence and minimise product giveaway
- Carry out basic asset care activities as required
- Support the delivery of quality, quantity, cost and production targets
- Communicate effectively with colleagues across departments

Ideal Candidate
- Committed to food safety, quality and compliance standards
- Detail-focused and able to complete documentation accurately
- Motivated to improve processes and identify efficiencies
- A strong team player with effective communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Willing to learn new skills and undertake training when required
- Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping
- Focused on delivering quality products consistently
- Experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment
- Experience within the food production sector
