Vehicle Technician

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday Full time

Our client, a successful and well-established automotive dealer group are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to the highest standards while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Using diagnostic equipment and technical support systems.
  • Following manufacturer repair procedures and workshop processes.
  • Completing accurate electronic job cards and technical reports.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

About You

  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
