Position: Mechanical Assembly

Position: permanent

Salary: £28000 to £30420 per annum

Working hours: 7:45 - 4:45pm Mon – Thurs and 7:45 – 12:45pm Fri

Benefits:

We are now seeking to recruit a mechanical assembly to work for engineering manufacturing company based in Tewkesbury. The appropriate mechanical assembler would be responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly of components and products in line with engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Build sub-assemblies and final assemblies
  • Fit helicoils, threaded inserts and mechanical components
  • Follow work instructions to assemble chassis and other components using techniques that include adhesives and screws
  • Apply adhesives and operate curing ovens
  • Carry out post-cure operations including pin hole fixing
  • Fitting of Lee plugs and restrictor valves using a mechanical press
  • Use hand tools safely and effectively
