Mechanical Construction Manager
Location: West Ruislip, West London
Sector: Major Infrastructure / M&E

An experienced Mechanical Construction Manager is required to join a leading M&E contractor working on a major infrastructure project in West London.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the site delivery of mechanical packages, coordinating installation teams and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme and specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical installation activities across the project.
- Coordinate subcontractors, supervisors, and site labour.
- Manage mechanical packages from installation through to testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and construction information.
- Ensure installations are delivered in accordance with approved designs.
- Monitor programme, productivity, and quality.
- Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, civil, and other disciplines.
- Manage RAMS, permits, inspections, and relevant site documentation.
- Identify and resolve installation and coordination issues.
- Attend project, progress, and coordination meetings.
- Manage snagging and close-out of mechanical works.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality throughout delivery.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager or Mechanical Site Manager.
- Strong mechanical building services experience.
- Good technical understanding of mechanical installations and associated systems.
- Experience managing subcontractors and installation teams.
- Strong understanding of construction programmes and site coordination.
- Confident interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Experience taking packages through installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Major infrastructure, rail, tunnelling, or complex project experience would be advantageous.
