Mechanical Construction Manager
North West London
£65,000–£70,000 + Travel + Bonus
A leading Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join its project delivery team on a major residential development in North West London. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the mechanical works, working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
The Role
This is a hands-on, site-based position suited to an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager who is confident managing subcontractors, coordinating multiple work fronts and maintaining high standards of quality and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day mechanical construction activities on site.
- Coordinate mechanical subcontractors, labour and specialist trades.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to deliver the mechanical package to programme.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
- Manage sequencing and coordination of mechanical works.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure works meet the required standards.
- Coordinate mechanical works with electrical and wider construction activities.
- Monitor Health & Safety across all mechanical activities.
- Attend site, progress and coordination meetings.
- Identify issues early and drive them through to resolution.
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.
- Maintain accurate site records and project documentation.

Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager, Mechanical Site Manager or Mechanical Supervisor.
- Strong mechanical building services background.
- Previous experience working on large residential projects.
- Experience managing subcontractors and site-based teams.
- Good understanding of construction sequencing and programme delivery.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

The Opportunity
