Mechanical Design Engineer
Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (Commutable from: Watford, St Albans, Luton, Hatfield, Harpenden, Berkhamsted, Aylesbury)
Salary: 35,000 – 40,000 + Training + Progression + Benefits
Are you a Mechanical Engineer with experience in both Design and Assembly / Machining looking to technically develop across a range of skillsets whilst working on projects from cradle to grave?

The company are a multi-million pound manufacturer of scientific and laboratory-based equipment. They supply blue chip clients and are continuing to grow.
This is a Monday – Friday days based role out of their high-tech HQ. You will be involved with the initial design, conceptualization through to manufacturing whilst supporting some mechanical assembly and CNC machining.
Responsibilities
- Design and modification of bespoke mechanical equipment
- 3D CAD and production of engineering drawings
- Hands-on assembly, modification, and testing
- Monday – Friday (8.30am – 4.30pm)
Requirements
- Mechanical Design / CAD experience
- Hands-on mechanical assembly skills
- Experience with hand tools, machine tools, or CNC equipment
- Commutable to Hemel Hempstead
