Position: Industrial Design CAD Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $40 - $80/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review complex multi-part CAD assemblies in FreeCAD format and analyze design intent.
- Author clear, objective technical questions with exact answers based on assembly details and functions.
- Develop unique questions for each assembly to ensure comprehensive coverage of structure and function.
- Ensure clarity and precision in all questions and answers to support AI training data requirements.
- Leverage expertise in mechanical engineering or industrial design to identify key assembly features.
- Collaborate with project coordinators to provide feedback and suggestions for process improvement.

Requirements
- Demonstrated background in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design with strong CAD knowledge.
- Expertise in interpreting multi-part assembly drawings, technical documentation, and CAD files.
- Proven track record authoring technical documentation or assessment materials.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with FreeCAD or similar CAD software environments.
