Mechanical Design Engineer | £40,000 | Dover, Kent
We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on the development of electromechanical products, taking mechanical designs from initial concept through to production release.
The role will involve:
- 3D CAD design and detailed engineering drawings
- Concept development through to manufacture
- Electromechanical assemblies and product enclosures
- Plastics, sheet metal and machined components
- DFMA and material/process selection
- Supporting production and resolving post-release design issues
- Working closely with electronics and manufacturing engineers

We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years’ mechanical design experience and a track record of developing products for manufacture.
SolidWorks experience would be useful, although experience with comparable 3D CAD packages will be considered.
Package:
- £40,000 salary
