We're Hiring: Mechanical Engineer | Glasgow or Coventry | Renewable Energy

Are you the kind of engineer who wants to build something that has never been built before?

At Katrick Technologies, we're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team and help develop our innovative Wind Panel technology – a breakthrough solution that captures low-level wind in places where conventional wind turbines simply can't operate.

This isn't a role where you'll be working on incremental improvements. It's an opportunity to be part of a fast-growing startup where you'll help take a pioneering product from concept through prototyping, testing, field deployment and commercialisation.

You'll be involved in:

  • Mechanical design using SolidWorks
  • Prototype development, testing and validation
  • Product development from concept to manufacture
  • Wind mapping and field deployments across the UK
  • Working directly with customers, suppliers and manufacturing partners
  • International travel as our technology is deployed around the world

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
