What's the role?
To deliver support to the Transformer Engineering Department, to meet forecasted delivery of Transformers and Engineering Department Objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce Mechanical Designs of Transformers and Reactors for up to 132kV Transformers as per Scope of Work.
- Prepare manufacturing and customer drawings under the direction of Senior Engineer/Engineering Manager to Scope of work.
- Produce Transformer assembly, General assembly drawings.
- Support IT department to keep existing & future CAD systems up to date.
- Working with the customer and the wider Engineering team to achieve the required specifications.

What We’re Looking For
- An accredited Bachelors or honours degree in engineering or technology
- Autodesk inventor / AutoCAD 2D
- A Higher National Diploma or a Foundation Degree in engineering or technology, plus appropriate further learning to degree level.
- Strong teamworking & stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Design of Power Transformers and Reactors up to 132kV and 120MVA
