🔧 Mechanical Design Engineer | Cardiff | £45k–£55k
Ready to take ownership of mechanical designs from concept through to delivery?
An established Building Services consultancy is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Cardiff team, working across commercial, industrial, education and public-sector projects. Ideal for an Intermediate to Senior Engineer with a strong MEP background.
🔧 The role
- Design HVAC, heating, ventilation & public health systems
- Produce calculations, specifications & technical reports
- Develop & coordinate designs using Revit
- Work with electrical, structural & architectural teams
- Take projects from concept through to construction
- Attend design meetings & liaise with clients

👷 What we're looking for ✔️ Mechanical Building Services Design experience ✔️ Strong HVAC / MEP knowledge ✔️ Confident with Revit ✔️ Experience with Hevacomp, MagiCAD, IES VE or similar ✔️ Strong mechanical calculation & design knowledge ✔️ Degree, HND or equivalent
