We're recruiting on behalf of an established and growing engineering consultancy that delivers innovative, sustainable Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) design solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll play an integral role in delivering projects from concept through to completion while developing your technical expertise and progressing your career.


The Role

Working from the Nottingham office, you'll be involved throughout the RIBA Plan of Work, supporting the design, coordination and delivery of high–quality building services solutions.


Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Designing mechanical and electrical building services systems.
  • Producing engineering calculations, technical reports and specifications.
  • Creating and coordinating BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Working closely with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Carrying out site surveys, inspections and commissioning support.
  • Developing practical, low–carbon engineering solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with current Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act and industry standards.

About You

We're looking for someone who is technically strong, collaborative and passionate about delivering quality engineering solutions.


You'll Ideally Have

  • A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related built–environment discipline.
  • A minimum of three years' post–qualification experience, ideally around five years, gained within an MEP consultancy or design–and–build environment.
  • Experience supporting projects through design, coordination, site inspections and commissioning.
  • Good working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and relevant engineering calculation software.
  • An interest in sustainable and low–carbon building design.
  • A collaborative approach with the flexibility to work across both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • The ability to travel independently to project sites, surveys and client meetings.
  • The ability to commute to the Nottingham office (ideally within approximately 45 minutes).
  • A stable employment history with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
