Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for your next challenge? My client has an exciting opportunity for a talented engineer to join their growing engineering team, working on the design and development of complex electromechanical products and systems.

This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in the full mechanical design process, producing innovative design solutions and supporting projects from concept through to manufacture.

In this Mechanical Design Engineer - Creo role based in Newcastle upon Tyne, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing mechanical components, enclosures and electromechanical assemblies using Creo.
  • Producing accurate 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support product development and continuous design improvements.

  • Experience designing electromechanical products, electronic enclosures or complex engineered assemblies.
  • Proficiency using Creo (or a similar 3D CAD package) to produce detailed engineering drawings.
  • An HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
