Mechanical Design Engineer (Food Machinery / Pneumatics)
£40,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + Tech Package + Enhanced Holidays + Company Benefits
Hull, East Yorkshire
Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in machinery, automation, or pneumatics, looking to join an established engineering business where you can work on bespoke machinery and develop your career?
This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leader with over 60 years of engineering expertise, designing and manufacturing bespoke food processing and automation machinery for globally recognised manufacturers including Bakkavor, Ramona's Food, and other leading food producers.
In this role, you'll:
- Design bespoke food processing and automation machinery
- Produce detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings
- Develop pneumatic and mechanical systems
- Work on projects from initial concept through to manufacture
- Review and improve existing designs for manufacture and efficiency

Fully office-based in Hull.
The Person:
- Mechanical Design Engineer or similar engineering background
- Experience designing pneumatic systems
- Strong 3D CAD experience using SolidWorks or similar
- Commutable to Hull
