Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Mechanical Design Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for designing and contributing to the innovation of truck-mounted road sweepers. Daily tasks include machine design, creating and modifying product designs, utilizing Solidworks software, and collaborating closely with the engineering team to develop solutions that prioritize performance and efficiency. Additionally, the role involves reviewing designs to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering principles
- Experience in Machine Design and Product Design
- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software - Solidworks and Draftsight
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to create detail drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for innovation
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Willingness to work in UK Time (1:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST) if necessary
- Strong knowledge of ECN processes, DXF exports, laser cutting prep, and sheet metal design
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design
