Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience designing offshore/marine equipment looking to join a specialist in fluid transfer systems offering a chance to work on unique bespoke projects and upskill into specific marine equipment?

This established company design and manufacture hose handling systems, serving the Marine Transportation industry has seen continued growth and has been awarded recognition as one of the top 1000 companies to inspire Britain. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the design team working on specialist marine projects.

In this role you will be using AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Inventor 3D to design storage solutions for hydraulic hoses. You will create 3D models of bespoke marine equipment before creating the 2D manufacturing drawings while keeping any modifications to designs up to date. You will assist the Engineering Manager pricing your designs and reviewing your designs.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience from the marine or fabrication industries looking to join a global business working on bespoke projects.

The Role

  • Using AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Inventor 3D to design storage solutions
  • Creating 2D manufacturing schematics
  • Working closely with the Engineering Manager to price and review designs
  • Monday – Friday (8am–4pm)
  • Optional overtime paid at 1.5x
