🚨 Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services
📍 London
💼 Permanent | Full-time | Hybrid
I’m looking to speak with experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineers interested in joining a growing Building Services & Low Carbon Engineering Consultancy.
This position offers the opportunity to take genuine ownership of projects while working across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial, pharmaceutical, public sector and low-carbon/net-zero schemes.
Key responsibilities include:
- ⚙️ Leading mechanical design on selected projects
- 📐 Producing calculations, specifications and drawings
- 🤝 Acting as a client-facing engineer throughout project delivery
- 🏗 Working across projects from inception through to completion
- 👥 Providing technical guidance to junior engineers
- 🌱 Designing sustainable and low-carbon building services solutions
- 📊 Attending project meetings and delivering client presentations

Ideally you'll have:
- ✅ 5+ years' Building Services mechanical design experience
- ✅ Mechanical or Building Services Engineering qualification
- ✅ Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems
- ✅ Experience across multiple project/design stages
- ✅ Revit and relevant building services software experience
- ✅ Knowledge of Building Regulations and UK/European standards
- ✅ CIBSE membership / Chartership progression advantageous
- ✅ BREEAM, HTM and renewable technology knowledge beneficial
