Our client, a leading engineering business, is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks skills to join their team as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects and delivering high–quality design solutions within challenging timescales.

Key Requirements For The Mechanical Design Engineer
- Proven and strong experience using SolidWorks for mechanical design.
- Background in Aerospace, Automation, Agricultural Engineering, or a similar industry.
- Mechanical/Design/Engineering degree/qualifications or similar.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet project deadlines.
- Self–motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and within a team.
The Role Of The Mechanical Design Engineer
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies.
- Produce detailed manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
- Work closely with project and engineering teams to deliver projects on time.
- Support product development from concept through to manufacture.
