Mechanical Design Engineer - Milton Keynes
£40,000–£45,000 + benefits
We’re currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established engineering business based in Fareham.
The role will involve designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies, producing detailed CAD drawings and working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to take designs from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical components, assemblies and systems using 3D CAD
- Produce detailed manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
- Develop and modify existing designs based on customer and production requirements
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering and other departments
- Support design reviews, testing and continuous improvement activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience in a mechanical design engineering role
- Strong 3D CAD skills, ideally SolidWorks
- Experience producing detailed engineering drawings
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles
- A practical, hands-on approach to design and problem solving
