ISQ Recruitment is recruiting for a Mechanical / Electrical Assembly Technician to join a hands-on engineering production team in Norfolk.

This role would suit someone who is a mechanically biased technician with electrical knowledge and enjoys precision assembly, using tools, reading drawings and working on varied technical builds rather than basic repetitive production work.

About The Role

You will be involved in assembling and disassembling mechanical and electrical assemblies, following technical drawings, manuals and specifications, using hand tools and measuring equipment.

Key duties

  • Assemble and disassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Work from drawings, manuals and build instructions
  • Use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment
  • Work closely with production and engineering colleagues
  • Follow health and safety procedures and PPE requirements

What we are looking for

  • Hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly experience
  • Background in technical assembly, mechanical builds, maintenance, machinery, vehicles, aircraft or similar
  • Confident using tools and measuring equipment
  • Able to read drawings and technical instructions
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
