We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical & Electrical Compliance (M&E) Coordinator to join the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team in the Estates Division. If you are a proactive and organised individual with strong attention to detail and previous experience of working with FM PPM's, audits and technical documentation this may be the role for you.
The Role:
As M&E Compliance Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Senior M&E Compliance Manager and the wider Statutory Compliance Team. You will coordinate compliance programmes across the University's estate, including audit activities, electrical inspection programmes, F-Gas compliance, technical documentation management and contractor performance monitoring.
You will analyse compliance and performance data, support budget monitoring, manage specialist contractor and consultant activities, and contribute to investigations, audits and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also supports the development of compliance procedures, guidance and reporting that help ensure the University maintains high standards of statutory compliance across its mechanical and electrical assets.

About you:
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Experience within Facilities Management, maintenance or compliance-related environments.
- An understanding of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience of undertaking audits and reviewing technical documentation.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with compliance, maintenance or operational data.
- The ability to produce accurate reports and identify trends from complex information.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors and external specialists.
- Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems would be advantageous.
- Experience of CAFM systems, F-Gas compliance or building services maintenance would be beneficial
