We currently have exciting opportunities in major cities across all Australian states for experienced Project Managers and Engineers to join their team.
You will be responsible for the management of day-to-day operations of the assigned project scope including, leading and delivering the project from design through to completion to the highest standard, ensuring the project(s) are on time and within budget.
Successful candidates will be responsible for the development of design documentation to ensure that project deliverables and design outcomes are achieved and on time. This role will also be responsible for maintaining and developing long-term relationships at all levels within the organisation and with prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing and sustaining strong relationships with clients, builders, principals, suppliers
- Ensure all contractual requirements, obligations and scope of work are understood, are met and mitigate Fredon's exposure to risk on projects
- Oversee and approve all design, procurement and drawing requirements for projects
- Manage the financial performance and change management of the project
- Lead and manage the project team including, active participation in site meetings, partnering with the Manager to respond to performance and conduct concerns, provide coaching, feedback and development to team members
- Respond to technical queries
- Variation Submission and approvals both upstream and downstream
- Forecast cost to complete within Fredon accounting system (Coins)
- Reporting including, monthly project reports, labour analysis report, project reviews, progress claims and programme schedules
- Raise and dispose of non-conformances in accordance with documented procedures
- Manage commissioning, handover and defects liability period (DLP)

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated 5+ plus years on medium to large scale projects within the construction industry
- Well developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with clients, stakeholders, suppliers and contractors
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
