M&E Site Manager / Project Manager
Location: Ayrshire
Salary: Competitive + Company Car/Allowance + Benefits
A leading UK construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced M&E Site Manager / Project Manager to join a major new-build project in Ayrshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering the mechanical and electrical services package on a high-profile construction project, working alongside an experienced project team from inception through to completion.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the delivery of mechanical and electrical installation works on site.
- Coordinating mechanical, electrical and specialist subcontractors.
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Planning and coordinating site activities to meet key project milestones.
- Reviewing drawings, technical specifications and installation programmes.
- Managing inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
- Liaising with the client, consultants, design teams and the wider project team.
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety legislation, company procedures and quality standards.
- Identifying and resolving technical and construction issues throughout the project lifecycle.

About You
We're looking for an experienced M&E professional with a strong background delivering building services packages on construction projects.
Ideally you'll have:
- Experience as an M&E Site Manager, M&E Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager or Electrical Project Manager.
- A proven background delivering mechanical and/or electrical building services projects.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work packages.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services installations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to programme management, quality and health & safety.
- SMSTS (or equivalent) and a relevant mechanical or electrical trade/technical background.
