About The Role
We are expanding our support for the Mechanical and Electrical teams at our Segensworth offices to meet the growing needs of our business.
We’re looking for an experienced Scheduler/Planner to coordinate reactive and planned works, manage operational and client requests, and escalate any issues to the Installation/Electrical Managers when required.
This is a fast-paced role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring the right people are allocated to the right jobs, taking into consideration their skills, experience, location, availability and customer requirements.
You’ll be at the heart of the operation, helping to keep projects and reactive works running smoothly while ensuring our teams are well prepared, productive and able to complete work on time and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule reactive and planned works, ensuring the right people are allocated based on skills, location, availability and customer requirements.
- Organise project teams and ensure they have the relevant job packs, information and system tasks needed before attending site.
- Monitor team workloads, activity and travel to maximise productivity and identify any issues that could affect delivery.
- Work closely with operational teams, managers and customers to manage requests, resolve issues and escalate where appropriate.
- Ensure jobs are completed within agreed response times and costs, while maintaining accurate records and clear audit trails.
- Manage changing priorities and proactively find solutions to keep projects and works running smoothly.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in planning or scheduling multiple resources with different skills and levels of experience.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks while responding positively to changing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.
- A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively with different teams and departments.
- Confidence working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently, take ownership of tasks and use initiative to resolve issues.

Preferred
- Previous experience within the hire industry or a similar industry.
- A qualification in Business Administrator or equivalent (would be advantageous).
