Mechanical Engineer

Black & White Engineering is looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist consultancy delivering world-class projects across the data centre and mission-critical sectors.

You'll be involved in every stage of the project lifecycle while collaborating with some of the industry's most respected engineering professionals. From cooling systems and HVAC design through to sustainable engineering solutions, you'll play a critical role in shaping the performance and efficiency of highly demanding facilities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing mechanical engineering designs and calculations.
  • Designing HVAC, cooling and ventilation systems.
  • Preparing technical specifications and reports.
  • Supporting project delivery within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participating in client and design coordination meetings.
  • Reviewing project requirements and engineering standards.
  • Assisting with project planning and technical delivery.

Essential Skills

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Experience within building services consultancy environments.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and cooling systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good understanding of engineering standards and best practice.
  • Experience using industry-standard design software.
