Job Role: Mechanical Engineer
Job Type: Permanent, Hybrid
Hours: 37.5hrs/wk

Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 per annum

My client is a world leader in the provision of highly advanced technical solutions to Energy and Subsea sectors. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. Job Role – Mechanical Engineer
Reporting to the Product Lead, the Mechanical Engineer shall be responsible for delivering technical information and instructions within a planned schedule. Provide advice to customers, other operations and departments across the company business on design, problems, and solutions.

Duties – Mechanical Engineer
- Create, analyse and develop Product Design to meet customers’ or the industry’s needs, having an awareness of good economic design and safety, both in manufacture and function
- Design, produce and analyse mathematical models as well as undertaking mechanical design calculations and draw design conclusions based on those.
- Create and maintain product documentation (requirements, specification, design, development, integration, test procedures, and results) following company procedures.
- Engage in product development work within the product portfolio.
- Discuss the customer’s requirements and identify products which meet these.
- Give technical advice on the application and proper use of products.
- Adhere to the processes stipulated in the Engineering Procedures (EPs) and the Business Process Management system (BPM).

Skills/Experience – Mechanical Engineer
- Degree in Engineering or suitable alternative qualification
- Experience with Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Inventor or similar 3D CAD package
Candidates who are currently a Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, Project Engineer, Development Engineer, Analysis Engineer, Stress Engineer, Engineering Manager, Mechanical Engineer, product Designer, Product Engineer, and Design Lead could be suitable for this position.
