OUTSIDE IR35 Mechanical Engineering role. The role offers the opportunity for home / hybrid-based working and the Mechanical Engineer can be based anywhere in the UK. This role is with one of the UK's leading Consultancies with operations based all over the United Kingdom and internationally.
The company specialises in providing services including Project Management, Construction, Design & Consulting, Commissioning, HSE and PS. They provide this service to clients all over the world, operating within the following areas; Pharmaceuticals, Medical Technologies, Food & Beverage, Energy, Chemicals, Construction and more.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer
- Act as a focal point, conducting basic and detailed design studies from brief's and produce scheme's.
- Working with a range of clients, primarily in the pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences and chemical sectors.
- Operating as a Package Owner, managing suppliers and bring the primary contact for the client.
- Producing documentation to assist the manufacturing facilities and process environments.
- Generate calculations to support design concepts.

To be successful in this position as Mechanical Engineer we are looking for a candidate with Chartered Status and degree in a relevant discipline (Mech Eng, Mech Systems Eng etc.). The ideal candidate will hold at least 10 - 15 years' experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or related within Design.
