Nuada

Nuada is a vibrant Cleantech business that has developed an exciting next-generation carbon capture system, which will be critical in the fight against climate change.

Having secured partnerships with leading cement manufacturers and energy producers, we are scaling our technology; showcasing the exciting potential of our ultra-energy efficient capture system to help decarbonise many hard-to-abate industries, turbocharging our pathway to Net-Zero.

We are in an exciting phase of growth and are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who is passionate about designing, selecting, and commissioning key process equipment and structural components to bring carbon capture projects from concept to field deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and improvement of carbon capture plants
  • Execute mechanical design and calculations for pressure vessels, process piping and mechanical equipment. Carry out mechanical and structural calculations for skids, support frames, platforms, vessel and pipe supports, baseplates and anchoring
  • 3D modelling and drawings (3D CAD) models for equipment, piping, skids and structures, and preparation of the associated deliverables
  • Procurement and vendor coordination. Preparation of equipment specifications, datasheets, material requisitions and RFQs. Carry out Technical Bid Evaluations and manage technical clarifications with suppliers and fabricators
  • Support Factory Acceptance Testing, inspecting, installation, commissioning and contribute to engineering safety reviews

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
