Flexible working hours Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm!
Join a growing machinery manufacturer and play a key role in building high-quality bespoke equipment. As a Mechanical Engineer you'll work on varied projects, be recognised for your craftsmanship, and have genuine progression opportunities.
The Mechanical Engineer Role
- Mechanical assembly and build of bespoke machinery
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Working with pneumatics (cylinders, slides, regulators)
- Machine build, installation and mechanical testing
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
- Ensuring exceptional quality and accuracy
- Supervising a small team
Mechanical Engineer Requirements
- Strong background in machine build / mechanical fitting
- Confident reading engineering drawings
- Good pneumatic systems knowledge
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail
- Positive, team-focused attitude
- CNC or machining experience beneficial
- Ideally 8+ years' engineering experience
- Proven supervisory capability
