Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support an upcoming project. The resource will operate as an integrated member of the project team and be capable of independently managing his/her activities without supervision.

Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will provide mechanical engineering expertise, resolve integration and design issues, and support cross-pillar technical problem solving.

What You Will Do

  • The Client will be responsible for day-to-day task assignment and project direction, review and acceptance of deliverables, and technical governance and customer interface.
  • Foster collaboration across engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project delivery and technical alignment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing clear communication and technical insight to support project progress and business development.
  • Apply relevant procedures, codes, and standards rigorously to all engineering activities, ensuring compliance and technical excellence.
  • Lead the production and review of engineering outputs including calculations, drawings, models, and reports while maintaining design integrity throughout the lifecycle.
  • Identify and manage project risks, contribute to safety assessments, and support continuous improvement through technical evaluations and process enhancements.

What Will You Bring

  • Proven experience delivering engineering activities across the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to complex technical solutions and project outcomes.
  • Strong track record of producing and reviewing detailed engineering documentation, including calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders and customers to resolve technical and delivery challenges.
  • IEng/RSci/IMarEng, mechanical/mechatronic engineering delivery, production/manufacturing experience, integration and technical problem solving; EngTech Level 4+ technical delivery experience.

Work Experience

Key Technical/Professional Competencies

  • Good knowledge on various manufacturing processes
  • Experience in lean & 5S management
  • Exposure to Aero/ Auto industry is preferred
  • Awareness of aerospace/auto quality requirements (AS9100, OSHAS, TS 16949, various ISO)

Education & Professional Qualification

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum hands-on experience in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Project management experience is a must

  • Willing to travel to the Customer site & Service providers, as required
  • Proactive approach and work in a fast-paced environment
