Job Openings for Mechanical Fitters and Supervisors
Our business has the requirement to hire mechanical fitters and mechanical supervisors with a proven background in working within an industrial environment.
We are offering two distinct roles to suitable qualified candidates:
- Mechanical Engineer/Fitter: £16.40 per hour
- Mechanical Supervisor: £18.45 per hour (must have SSSTS)
All roles are based upon a minimum working week of 40 hours, our main office is within Bury St Edmunds, however this is a site-based role.
This role is permanent.

About the Company
The business is a well-established Mechanical and Electrical Contractor delivering installation services to major industrial clients throughout the UK. The business is accredited to ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001, demonstrating our commitment to Health, Safety, Quality, and the Environment.
We are looking for safety-conscious and diligent individuals to join our growing organization.
Our primary focus is within the clean and wastewater sectors; however, we also have major contracts within gas distribution, electrical distribution, and petrochemical environments.

Essential Skills and Competencies
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- 2 or more years of experience of mechanical fitting, engineering, fabrication, etc.
- CSCS Card
Preferred Skills and Competencies
- EUSR Clean Water
- EUSR Shea Gas
- Anglian Water Safety Passport
- Thames Water Safety Passport
- CPCS Competency - Telehandler
- Counterbalance Forklift
- Experience of working within the water industry is advantageous
Salary
£16.40 - £18.45 per hour
