Mechanical Engineer – MEP Consultancy | Abingdon
📍 Abingdon | 💼 Full-time | 🏢 MEP Engineering Consultancy | 🛠️ 3–5 years’ experience
We’re working with an established MEP Engineering Consultancy in Abingdon that is looking to add a talented Mechanical Engineer to their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with around 3–5 years’ experience who is looking to take the next step in their career and work on a genuinely varied portfolio of technically interesting projects.
The Role
You’ll have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of sectors and projects, including:
- Universities and education
- Passivhaus and sustainable design
- Decarbonisation projects
- Healthcare, including dental hospitals
- Heritage buildings
- And a range of other complex building projects

About You
We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer with approximately 3–5 years’ experience within an MEP/building services consultancy environment.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience designing mechanical building services systems
- A good understanding of MEP consultancy and building services design
- Experience working on projects from concept through to detailed design
- Strong technical and communication skills
- A genuine interest in sustainable and energy-efficient design
- The ambition to develop your career within a supportive consultancy environment
