Mechanical Engineering Role

BeyondHR is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineering position on behalf of our client, Full Circle Generation, based in Belfast.

About the Role

Full Circle Generation owns and operates an advanced thermal treatment facility in Belfast, playing a vital role in sustainable energy generation and waste recovery. We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to support the Engineering Manager in leading, coordinating and developing the mechanical maintenance function, ensuring the highest levels of plant reliability, availability and performance while maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious engineer who is looking to take genuine ownership of a critical power generation facility. The position offers end-to-end responsibility, encompassing both hands-on technical troubleshooting and strategic reliability improvements. We are looking for an individual who will take full ownership of plant performance and drive measurable improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
