Mechanical Engineer – North London
Location: North London (Colindale)
Pay: £20.70 per hour PAYE
Hours: Full-time (approx. 40 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary
Start Date: 27 April 2026
End Date: 6 July 2026

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical systems
- Respond to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns
- Maintain and repair HVAC, plant equipment, and associated systems
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations
- Accurately record maintenance activities and report findings
- Support wider site maintenance operations where required
Requirements:

- Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- Experience in a commercial or critical environment (e.g. healthcare, labs, or similar)
- Strong understanding of HVAC and building services systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and professional approach
- Right to Work in the UK
Desirable:
- Experience in regulated or high-compliance environments
- Additional multi-skilled maintenance experience
