The Role
As The Mechanical Engineer, You'll
- Manage reactive works across building mechanical and electrical systems.
- Respond to site emergencies and complete remedial Help Desk requests.
- Coordinate and complete small works repairs across the site.
- Deliver planned maintenance in line with contractual KPIs and SLAs.
- Maintain accurate PPM records and keep the CAFM system updated.
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments for additional works.
- Compile monthly reports covering completed maintenance activity.
- Provide a professional service to internal and external customers.

About You
To Be Successful As The Mechanical Engineer, You'll Have
- NVQ Level 2 or higher in a mechanical discipline.
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance.
- The ability to respond effectively to faults and emergency repairs.
- Experience maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance records.
- A customer-focused approach when working with site stakeholders.

What's in it for You?
- £43,000–£45,000 annual salary.
- Permanent position near Oxford Circus, London.
- Static, Monday-to-Friday working arrangement.
- Day shifts of 7:00am–4:00pm, 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm.
- Varied responsibility across PPM, reactive maintenance and small works. The role includes a 1-in-3 call-out rota covering Cambridge and Guildford.
