Are you a Mechanical Engineer with strong commercial plumbing, gas or HVAC experience looking for a technically varied role? A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Buckinghamshire to join an established engineering team within a high-security, critical environment.

The Role

As The Mechanical Engineer, You’ll

  • Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across a large commercial facility.
  • Complete plumbing, commercial gas and general mechanical works.
  • Support HVAC systems, including fault finding, maintenance and minor project works.
  • Assess faults and coordinate specialist contractors where required.
  • Support mechanical projects, installations and upgrades across the site.
  • Work closely with the wider engineering team and Contract Manager.

Role

  • Participate in an on-call rota, with additional overtime opportunities available.

You

To be successful in the role of Mechanical Engineer, you’ll bring:

  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Commercial Plumbing or Commercial Gas.
  • Strong commercial maintenance experience.
  • Good knowledge of plumbing and mechanical building services.
  • HVAC experience, particularly design and installation, would be highly advantageous.
  • Previous supervisory or commercial project experience would be beneficial.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to obtain the required high-level security clearance. Existing clearance would be advantageous.
