Mechanical Engineer | GMP Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
We are supporting a pharmaceutical manufacturing client looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their engineering team within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support mechanical engineering activities across pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and site infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues affecting manufacturing operations.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications and improvement projects.
- Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams.
- Support installation, commissioning, and qualification activities for new or modified equipment.
- Ensure mechanical engineering activities are completed in line with GMP requirements and site procedures.
- Maintain accurate engineering and technical documentation.

Profile:
- Mechanical Engineering background.
- Previous experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or another GMP-regulated environment.
- Strong hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Understanding of GMP engineering processes.
- Comfortable working on site.
