Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Fitter – Bristol
D&J Engineering Services Ltd is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a project based in Bristol.
📍 Location: Bristol
💷 Rate: £24.00 per hour
🛠 Role: Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Fitter
📅 Start: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical installation, fitting and assembly
- Maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment
- Working with industrial machinery and mechanical systems
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Fault finding and resolving mechanical issues
- Using hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Following site health & safety procedures
- Working effectively as part of the site team

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Fitter or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical fitting skills
- Relevant qualifications/tickets preferred
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently when required
- Right to work in the UK
