Mechanical Engineering Lecturer - Full Time, Permanent

Location: Hull
Starting Salary: £40,000+

A respected education and training provider local to Hull is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is ideal for an engineering professional looking to move into education. No teaching qualifications are required—fully funded teaching and assessing qualifications will be provided for the right candidate.

The Role

You will deliver engaging theory and practical sessions to Level 3 and Level 4 Engineering learners, supporting their technical development and preparing them for successful careers in industry. Teaching areas will include (but are not limited to):

  • Mechanical principles
  • Engineering mathematics
  • Engineering science
  • Fluid mechanics
  • CAD
  • Production engineering
  • Related mechanical engineering subjects

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (or closely related discipline)
  • Extensive industry experience within mechanical engineering
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage and motivate learners
  • A commitment to achieving teaching and assessing qualifications (fully funded)
