Position: Mechanical Engineering Technician
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite
My client, a specialist manufacturing business are on the hunt for an experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team!
Role and Responsibilities – Mechanical Engineering Technician
In this role, you will be assembling complex components and products for the scientific industry in line with tight tolerances and customer demand.
Other responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting – identifying, documenting, resolving and reporting technical issues during the assembly process
- Actively work with the D.O. to improve products and increase efficiency of assembly processes.
- Quality control and inspection – Conducting visual inspections to ensure products meet quality and specifications throughout the assembly process

Experience or Qualifications – Mechanical Engineering Technician
- NVQ or HNC Qualified in Engineering field
- Previous experience in assembly ideally within a scientific environment
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Welding, Soldering and Fabrication experience (desirable)
