Purpose
The Engineer's purpose is to contribute to design and engineer reliable, cost-effective, and safe engineering solutions that support the projects and the organization's operational and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations.
- You are responsible for planning and completing activities and deliverables within agreed time frame, as well as for ensuring system interfaces.
- You ensure that your Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both the contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.
- You ensure applicable lessons learnt are used, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
- You coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties, in accordance with contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.
