At Edwards Elite Engineering, we specialise in the design, fabrication and installation of pipework systems and products across a wide range of industries and sectors.
As part of our growing team, we are looking to recruit a Mechanical Estimator Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin a career in engineering while gaining a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification.
What will you be doing?
As an apprentice estimator, you’ll work within the commercial team of a project. This means you’ll be working on a variety of different projects across multiple industry sectors, working with your colleagues to process the information you receive during the process of bidding for a project.

You’ll attend project meetings with key stakeholders and clients and site visits as part of the bidding process. You’ll help measure and assess the work required to complete a project and present as part of the bidding sum.
Whilst working alongside the estimating team you will also have opportunities and insight to other areas of the business such as purchasing, sales, project management and health & safety as part of your learning.
What we’re looking for:
We want a proactive, driven individual with strong attention to detail. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a great attitude and a genuine willingness to learn - technical experience isn’t a requirement, as full training and support will be provided.
